I felt it was the players more than anything last night, Moyes doesn't help but what can he do when they miss sitters or don't play to their potential or do daft stuff.

He does make himself difficult to defend sometimes but we should have been out of sight before they scored.

They did to us what we did to Fulham.

Not being snarky at all but previously people like @Bluedylan1 have made me not feel so frustrated with him by giving good explanations of his decisions.

Could do with some nuance before I finish my Moyes out duvet.
Players shat the bed, we could and should have been 2-0 up, we missed soooo many chances. If we get a 2nd I'm pretty confident we get a 3rd and everyone is happy because Moyes set us up better and we're sitting in 5th.

I understand the frustration of the subs, think he got that completely wrong and didn't react well, so definitely deserves criticism for that, but that's not the reason we lost.

I think everyone agrees JOB and Gana shouldn't be starting matches, or certainly the latter not at RB, but regardless of that the system was plenty good enough for a routine and comfortable victory.

As a manager you can't legislate for people missing sitters and then shitting the bed as a result of that.

Next season with the same manager, 2 new full backs and a striker who can be relied upon and we're a good team... If the same things continue to happen then it's time for the bed sheets, but I personally don't blame Moyes for last night.

I don’t think having watched it back Barry’s first chance is a sitter it’s knee high coming at him quickly second one he should be burying still can’t get away from the playing Jake at rb though it’s really negating us especially at home

Sitter for me.

The way garner hits it makes me think this was pre planned and he should be setting his body better to put it away.

Think we need a convo about how bad we are at the back and how open we are through the middle. We are LEAKING.

Ready to admit that Gana Gueye despite being twice the player James Garner is in his wildest dreams, might be approaching tome to sit out to benefit the balance.

There’s obviously recruitment issues. Two competent full backs and a prem standard centre forward and we win easily as well as a load more other points this season. I think this highlights Moyes problems. When the recruitment was good think last few years of first spell we had a good period of consistency. He needs perfect solutions though and can’t get creative to fix problems in the squad by other means. Garner at right back is so obvious, it’s a huge upgrade and one area we are well stacked is midfield, but he won’t change it. Reminds me a bit of England has to shoehorn certain players in rather than create the right balance of the team
