Re: 777 Partners Takeover
I imagine so, if the new owners bought the debt first then bought us? 🤷🏻 Or even just negotiated a settlement with the administrators (which amounts to the same thing) might get us a good deal given that it's unsecured and behind a load of debt that has been secured on everything we own It's all in...

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Apparently masters will be at our game to avoid having to present city with the trophy. This is why I hope city win everything now because its embarrassing for the premier league and we get to see utd and Liverpool fans moan

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
Could we buy our own debt?? If we had new owners who could afford it.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
To suggest that someone with his experience doesn’t understand what football rivalry is absurd. Before we even consider Glasgow, we’re talking about someone who captained and managed a successful club in the final days of the toxic NSL, where teams were founded upon strong ethnic lines by migrants ...

Re: January Transfer Window
I think we were really harsh with bolasie. People would claim he'd played poorly (and some of his stuff would be comically bad) but even in them games he'd have created a couple of good chances. I don't think he was a particularly bad signing but for the injury. Someone like Gbamin gets much more be...

Re: January Transfer Window
I quite liked bolasie that first season. He was creating stuff every week. It was a mixed bag of good and awful but he was a threat

He's still a moron because they've got no money and the club is burning while he waits

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
I'm far from convinced there are other offers. I don't think there is anymore. Think the 50% for the 160m we owed the other bidder suggests they wanted the club. Think the fact that they didn't enforce it suggests they feel the value of the club has dropped further. The club is probably worth less ...

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
I appreciate the role they have in the process, ie all they can do is judge if 777 passes the test. However, the problem here is that it is (or should be, I could be wrong here) also their role to protect the interests of clubs and other stakeholders including fans and not just those of the owners....

Re: Thelwell talking strategy
He's gone on to absolutely nothing at a much lower level than the premier league since we made the awful mistake of getting rid of him and his 200k a week wages

Re: Amadou Onana
In terms of 'top' level football then Onana only had 1 season in Lille before he came here and then he's played under Frank vibes Lampard and now under Sean Dyche who isn't exactly known for allowing young players to show their quality on the ball even though he does have other strengths as a manag...

Re: Arnaut Danjuma
I think Dyche just strongly disliked him as a player. His usage of Danjuma is hard to justify, in my view. I really hate Dyche as a manager, if I am honest. Kind of think he's a bit of an ass hole, as well. But then he's kept us up two years in a row in difficult circumstances.... so maybe im just ...
