Moshiri bought it as part of a consortium. Everton just rent offices there.

Do Everton own the Liver buildings?
Everton FC owner Farhad Moshiri owns 49.9% and the other 15.1% is owned by a group of international investors. A spokesperson for CBRE said the opportunity had received “significant global and national interest” but confirmed the sales process is now “on hold”.18 Nov 2022

No we don’t, but our owner bought them, our offices went into them and we lit the birds up blue.

That is what we celebrated and had a buzz off.

Those who want to go into the finer details to take the joy out of it can dissect it to fuck if you want - I was just talking about that moment of Moshiri madness when for a few days it went all ‘the city is ours!’ for a bit.

That whole fucking stupid 'office in miami' thing was so so transparent and daft. We even introduced some like sporting consultant from the US who promptly disappeared along with any plans for the Miami office.

Also the gangsters nephew who we brought in with some kind of bullshit exec role, who then ended up looking after the women's team as sort of...women's team sporting director? But then started appearing in player signing photos...then finally assaulted someone with his bodyguard at a nightclub and promptly disappeared.
