Old
Finished
Expensive
Injured
Big club cast off
We’ll never get rid of him
Used to be really good
Not athletic at all

Guys I think we have a winner!

Technically excellent but because he scores at the same rate our current strikers do it wouldn't be something I'd be keen on.

I see a world where him, Grealish and Ndaiye all link up really well, especially with KDH behind. We'd have a very technically silky attack, but where are the goals coming from?
This is exactly right we need a quick finisher who can drop in and play not another target man Jesus parrot someone in that mould please

Dunno about putting his parrot upfront tbh unless he blessed his left claw or something

Interesting profile, only 5 foot 5 and played 16 games in the league last season. Only 20 so can't imagine we'd be buying him for the first team, nor would Moyes play him if we did

Don’t know why, but I always think of combative midfield players being tiny.

No point signing young promising players with Moyes as coach not compatible

The usual links to young players with lots of potential upsides, only for them to go to clubs playing in Europe, our committee saying “we tried” and ending up with someone who’s never even been on our list, let alone near the top of it

So it seems like whoever we're linked with there's going to be massive complaints?

Get linked with a Wan-Bissaka or Bowen or whoever and it's boring, uninspired Moyes with no imagination only wanting Prem proven players, and if we get linked with the opposite (younger players from foreign leagues) it's ''what's the point, Moyes won't play these exciting players?''.

Just clarifying so I know what to expect for the summer.

Has proven to be the case so far.

Another DM, so would suggest we're looking for someone to sit in midfield which is what we all want, so that's promising at least.

This one is tall and played 30 league games last season so would be much more ready than the other guy linked.

Do we?

I want Garner to be the one sitting in midfield as he's not a good enough forward passer or dribbler to be the creative part of the pivot. Do you really want Garner and a defensive DM as our midfield duo?

Yeah I understand what you're saying, but I think if we can have a proper ball playing DM then I'd be ok with him and Garner. We need someone who can pass a ball and dictate tempo, a Xhaka type deep lying play maker.

No idea if the players we are linked with are that profile though tbh
