That disconnect between manager snd recruitment team (or even poor recruitment from the lot of them) cant continue going forward. If we end up with another selection of players the manager doesn't want to use then something would have to change
Getting difficult to find players who don’t come with massive egos, arrogance and lack of humility

Look at Chelsea and Spurs, squads of 90% wools who aren’t arsed and expect an easy life

Maybe Moyes still wants players who have a bit about them

Gordon coming out saying Sunderland aren’t as good as Newcastle

Hopefully it's less about not being able to get in at all, and more about them not getting in yet.

I think some won't make it, but I think others will start to feature more next season, especially if we have another competition to factor in. I worry about Barry because mentally he seems a bit fragile and parts of the fanbase just haven't taken to him (and probably won't now after arsenal). Dibling is another, as I think he lacks the intensity that Moyes seems to value over almost anything else.

I'm pretty sure Kudus only started about half the games he played the season he signed for Westham as he probably didn't think he could trust him to do the hard work, moyes likes a workhorse. Players like Cahill and Neville probably played every minute they were available after they signed.

Id rather, within reason, we give him what he wants. Has to be better than signing potential hes no interest in playing

DM's first 18 momths are following a very similar pattern to his 2001/02 and 2002/03 seasons. Finished 7th with 59 points in 2003.

Lets hope we dont follow suit with our 2003/04 season performance!

I've been saying this to whoever listens to me.

Some more similarities:

I went to Moyes first game for Everton.
I went to Moyes first game back.

My first season as a season ticket holder was 02/03.
My first season as a season ticket holder since 03/04 is this season.
