Just feel like Drenthe took the piss out the club and doesnt deserve any sort of welcome back.
I think he’s since acknowledged that Moyes was right and that he squandered a big opportunity to rebuild his career with his unprofessional behavior. But that insight only came with age looking back on a wasted career.
Not saying the club should welcome him back for any particular reason, just pointing out his contrition.
He’s such a big what-if for me. If something had clicked for him professionally at that time, we may well be talking about him as one of our best ever players in the PL era.
