The Rebuild
Re: The Rebuild
Would be a fan of Richy on loan next season if possible. I would imagine Spurs will take the opportunity to get his stock back up to recoup some of the massive amount they paid for him whilst we've only got about 13 players contracted as it stands.
Having said that, their new manager might want to keep him by that point.

Re: The Rebuild
It’s probably absolute madness on my behalf, but I’d be willing to look at a year of Pogba with an option to extend if the wages were right

Can we go a week without different flavours of this nonsense pleaseShogun wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 7:38 pm Would be a fan of Richy on loan next season if possible. Re: The Rebuild
Toxic and his wages wouldn't budge because he thinks he's worth them. Best thing to happen to united imo
Re: The Rebuild
Richarlison, Pogba, Abraham - all the types of player we should be avoiding this time around, we've been given a second chance after getting our wings burnt under Moshiri, lets not actually fly into the sun with these players.
Re: The Rebuild
An absolutely mental shout. He's not played a first team match since September 2023 and not started a game since April 2022. He is 32 this month and he's also a bit of a bellend who would attract all the wrong kind of attention.

Re: The Rebuild
Genuinely don't think I'd have had Pogba here when he was supposed to be good. Absolute myth of a player.
Whether or not he ends up staying, and hopefully he does, deals like Alcaraz are the ones we should be pursuing. Or, if we're able to, 'proven' young players from top-half European clubs who are looking to make a step up, without necessarily being ready for CL teams.

Re: The Rebuild
Anyone heard anything about us being one of the teams interested in Vlahovic from Juventus?
Re: The Rebuild
By not giving Thelwell a new contract, presumably they will have others lined up to replace him now that they want to bring in a new team.
It almost gives more credence to Moyes becoming DOF in a couple of years time. Allow him to manage things for a couple of years in his own way and then go upstairs.
We have a massive opportunity this summer that we absolutely cannot waste. It seems like a lot of it will be down to Moyes.
