Hmm, I’d like to believe it’s all modern, but it feels a little bit Benitez albeit headed by a much better person and manager

I have for a very long time stuck to the philosophy of : don't believe absolutely anything the club say ever, because they talk absolute shit and are always always lying.

It's very rarely gone wrong for me.

Seems to me that it’s a case of American owners following an American model with regards senior management and recruiting. The DOF model is a European creation whereas a committee tasked with identifying and recruiting is far more common in American sports.

The article definitely gives me confidence, and let’s be honest, so far TFG haven’t put a foot wrong. Everything has been far more professional than what we’ve become accustomed to!

Kinnear taking Leeds to having the 8th biggest commercial revenue stream in the premier league also speaks volumes, as well as his open communication with fans.

Did like the focus on improving commercial performance.

Makes a massive change from the days of the club celebrating commercial performance with russian mobile phone companies plastered on the side of the ground.

Me too. More of an American angle, correct me if I’m wrong because I only follow one sport, but Americans are much more mad for their stats right? That’s why Amazon created in-game stats viewing on their sports coverage right? It’s all about the data-driven decisions!

I don’t hate the “flatter” structure. Less upheaval when a member leaves or is jettisoned.

A chef has to have some say over their ingredients.

Not advocating for total control or anything near that, but Moyes has got to at least have veto power, and some input in the decision making process given he's the one that has to mould them into a functional team, and his skill is as much in managing the mental characteristics as the physical.

The manager is the first to go if things aren't working.

As a Lakers fan, I really really hope that TFG do not buy the celtics. My level of hate for that team and their fans is like the shite.

I wouldn't mind this myself, New England has had the connection to Liverpool via the Patriots ownership and there was an uptick of more Liverpool fans/visible merchandise with that crossover in the area. I think it benefits Everton to be part of an ownership that does have huge teams from other sports in it's basket.

Be a bit mad that the two big Boston teams are owned by the owners of both Everton and Liverpool.
