The misery of an awful board is surely gone now, it's fitting he gets the chance to operate without spinning plates in the transfer market and making money before he can spend it, he's already brought us joy, should be much more to come, another great day.

Is there? Or can people not just be happy for how things are now after several years of turmoil rather than digging out posts on a thread while he was still West Ham manager just to try and win some internet points?

I believe the answer is simple: people change and clubs change.

Can we say we're the same club we were when he left? That's a strong no, we've been comprehensively run into the ground in many ways. But we've also got a director of football now and a new owner.
Can we say he's the same Moyes he was when he left? I'd argue that's a no too, not just because he's more experienced now but also his attitude seems to have changed.

So with all that in mind, can anyone honestly argue that it would've definitely worked out exactly like this had he come back earlier?

No it wouldn't have worked out like this mainly because we would have never been in this mess to begin with if he came back earlier,

Weirdo.

He’s six games in. Even Rafa had his time in the sun.

Predicted 12th at the start of the season.

Bit of luck with injuries top half, bad luck with injuries 14th/15th.

No way should this squad of players been worrying about relegation at any point in the season.

Moyes has brought us back to our right level in six games.

Incredible start he’s had.

If Dom had his shooting boots on we should have gotten at least a draw against Villa too.

Keep the feel good factor going against Man U.

We'll definitely see a drop off in results at some point, wouldn't be at all surprised to lose to Man UTD given the exertion this past week.

We're performing at an incredible level points wide right now, no team has picked up more points than us since Moyes took over, so whilst it's been brilliant it's not sustainable.

Still think we can look upwards rather than over our shoulders now though. Even if we just average a point a game from here on in we'll finish on 43 points which is probably good for around 13th to 14th but I think we'll achieve more than that.

8 points off Villa. Some turnaround this.
