Reduced wages only for me. Remember to replace him probably costs £15m minimum which we can't probably afford when we need to spend in so many areas.

A one year deal, used as backup, reduced wages, replace the following summer.

i think alcaraz is dukes replacement

i love the Duke but he is getting well past his best, he played really well against leicester but in many other games he has been poor

unless he goes on an unbelievable run of form i think this will be his last season

Coincidence he's looking a lot better under Moyes? Dyche just sucked the life out of this team. I agree his days are numbered and football ability is limited but if he can start scoring again it moves the goal posts for me

Hard to know with Alcaraz as we've not signed him permanently (yet).

We need bodies regardless, Gana, Garner, Timmy, Alcaraz is still not much depth for 3 positions.

Keep Doucs, add one other + Lindstrom and I feel that works.

Be interesting to see where Moyes plays McNeil when he returns

Has he been looking better under moyes. Was great against leicester but he was awful against Brighton. Don't really remember what he did and didn't do against spurs and villa

Rumor was we were in for him. We never made a bid though. Have watched him before and may be one for the future but nothing concrete this window

Wonder what decision we'd make on DCL if we get the option.

The only way he stays is if his form and injury means he's not getting the offers he was hoping for but if his stock is significantly lower then surely our offer should reflect that too

Not sure giving him a payrise to stay would be sensible at this point

He’s on £120 k a week, no club on this planet is going to offer him that, he’s made his bed by not signing, no way should he be offered a new contract for that much.

Totally agree. Think it was reported some months ago that we'd offered him a small payrise.
Personally I think we have to move away from him because of both form and injuries unless he's significantly cheaper. Maybe 50% which he isn't going to take and would still be a risk to us

Totally agree, it's not even about his ability, it's about availability.

We can't keep paying a fortune for players who either aren't fit, or aren't good enough.

Keane is another one who has to go for a similar reason. Doucs at least gets on the pitch and contributes even if it's in a limited capacity.
