Uninspiring but Moyes would be the right move imo. If there's ever a man to get a lot out of a limited squad.

Timing suggest it is someone currently out of work.

Yes with us being short of time, good solution if it's true

TFGs history, Moyes being out of work, and given the squad's tactical knowledge post Dyche, Moyes really would fit like a glove.

What kind of deal he would want though is a different question.

Clearly we wanted Potter and when we knew we couldn't get him we delayed sacking Dyche while we moved on to a different target.

Moyes, Mourinho or whoever it is I just hope it makes sense and the deal is right.

Whatever you think of Dyche, the way we have done this is fucking weird, even for us.

What's wrong with Rob Edwards? All things considered he did quite well with Luton last season.

McKenna, Franks would be good. Better than the dinosaurs Mourinho, Moyes, Benitez, Allardyce, Dyche.

Edit : Could tolerate Moyes but for certain no longer than 18 months

Fonseca, Southgate, and moyes seem to be the three names knocking about at the moment.

Unconvinced by all of them.

Worryingly moyes has now gone to odds on to come in 12/1 yesterday 1/2 now

Just for reference Moyes won percentage in the first 6 months in his roles is worse than what we're currently getting with Dyche.
If Moyes is the only option available then I wouldn't even bother sacking Dyche

He got 20 odd points didn't he. Is that doing well. He's just been sacked by Luton with them about 5th bottom in the championship

Yep, you've got to hope there is no substance to those rumours other than they're managers out of work

My biggest issue with Mourinho would be money. Look at all the money issues we have off the pitch. Now tell me that The Special One won’t want a much bigger wedge than Dyche. And tell me that he won’t be shopping at Harrods with our car boot sale budget.

Think he would cause all sorts of money issues.

One of the reasons for going with a so-called ‘hipster’ manager (I.e. less famous, lower leagues or foreign leagues etc) is that it would give us the chance to reset a reasonable wage for the manager.
