Have always been an advocate for bringing Moyes back but fuck giving him a contract that goes beyond this season, so that's a non starter for me.

Much as I hate him, I would sooner limp to safety with Dyche and appoint a longterm, non-toxic candidate in the summer.
If limping to safety with Dyche felt like an option, it would be my top choice.

You have score goals to win games and you have to create chances to score goals. The lack of both chances and goals combined, with him citing it as a long-term problem, tells me we’re doomed if we persist with him.

I think you'd have a great, rock and roll 4 months.

He's have us 17th by Christmas next year, having bought dzeko or someone, and be on non speaking terms with the local press.

I still think he gets us to safety. There'll be a few draws, the odd win here and there. If you can add a couple of players in Jan to help out, I think we can finish with our heads above water if we hold our nerve.

The Friedkins clearly don't want to change the manager right now, and Dyche isn't making it very easy for them to keep him.

If there was a serious longterm option now, like Potter, then yes I would replace him yesterday, but I really don't want to go down the Mourinho chaos route.

I honestly dont get it.

Have i missed something?
Took over West Ham in a similar position and rebuilt them to the point they won a European trophy.

This summer will be a pivotal moment for the coming years and Moyes is very good by and large in the transfer market which we will need. Can't afford to get that window wrong.

I think Moyes leading the team out at Bramley Moor would get at least some fans excited because of his history with us.

Like I said wouldn't be what I'd hoped for but his experience and understanding of how to build a team would be a huge asset.

West Ham conceded 74 goals last season.

The only thing we have going for us is we’re still relatively ok at the back.

I don’t want a manager who shipped 74 goals last season anywhere near us.

Scored 60 and finished 9th so I don't feel that's giving the whole picture.

Only problem with that though is there is no way we are suddenly turning into a 60 goal a season team.

Yeah, that was the point being made.

Worth noting that West Ham conceded 47, 51, and 55 in the three seasons prior so they were largely a good defensive side under Moyes.

Still, fair to be concerned about how poorly he dealt with losing Declan Rice. We have one excellent ball winner in midfield but he’s not built like a CB.

I'd hate the prospect of that prick leading us out at Bramley Moore, the history I most recently remember is his desire to shit on us to lead out United at a derelict Old Trafford, so he can keep that memory rather than the prestige of being the first manager at BM.

With players like kudus, paqueta, Bowen, soucek backed up by Alvarez.

They massively over performed in relation to their XG.

Seemed to me he had no idea of how to play and just sat back and hoped for the best.

Mourinho would be ace for 18 months. I imagine if would go to pot. Though i do think he and our fans would get on well.

Didn’t Mou get fired by the Friedkins? If so, I don’t think he would come back and work for them again.

I totally understand some wouldn't like it, I think though a lot would. Wouldn't be universal though.
