If they don't change it immediately it makes no sense.

20 games left of the season.

Plenty of time for a new manager and a possible new signing bedding in.

3 wins in 18.

What more evidence do you need?

Needs to go.

How goals have we scored from open play this season?

Hopefully the Friedkins are not as sentimental as the previous regime and dither about.

January is just a few days away and the club really needs to start planning what the future of the squad and the future of the football is going to look like.
I think they've been burned a bit by changing manager at Roma a number of times, and they are minded to keep Dyche til the end of the season, if at all possible.

I don't think it will be sentiment that protects him, I think it will be caution.

The last thing they want is to be blamed if we get relegated after sacking him. They should sack him, but nobody has suggested for who..

If Potter wants it then give him it. Not bothered about anyone else.

Pereira and Van Nistelrooy are punts where those clubs have gone to the roulette table and thrown everything down. There's nothing to suggest Potter is any less a safe pair of hands than Dyche is whilst there's plenty to suggest we can progress under him.

The stats are stacking up and they're damning.

Only one choice for me.

I’d be genuinely shocked if Potter was willing to take over this team midseason.

Big decision for Friedkin but now is the time. This anti-football will see us in the championship.

Don’t see how he’s a safe pair of hands anymore.

On our way to 35 points. Very much rolling the dice with that total.

Don't feel half as assured as I have been with Dyche anymore. The previous 3 games were relatively easy in all honesty, zero expectations to get anything and he does what he does best, set a team up not to lose with little to no ambition. His failings have always been when it comes to games we should do better in, and he's being found out tactically by more accomplished managers.
I do think he'd keep us up, but I also think another manager would, so id be tempted to pull the trigger and start the rebuild now

I think the underlying figures are what makes a strong case for his dismissal. However I'm not sure anyone in charge would be willing to sack a manager who's previous 5 results are:

1x win
3 x draw
1 X loss

When we've faced teams that are 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th (plus 17th) as an owner you'd look at that as a more than acceptable set of results.

Obviously we see the bigger picture of the underlying numbers but I'm not sure new American owners necessarily will or understand them in the same way we do. To them sacking would be quite a knee jerk reaction given the past 5 games and that we are outside the relegation zone.

He does need to go, if we can limp to the end of the season and change in the summer it would understandably be the most logical thing for the new owners to do. It is concerning though and I'm not sure Dyche has anything to change the course of this season.

Look how bad West Ham are.

They’re six points above us .
