Club or your Country for trophies

Post

given a choice of everton winning the prem or fa cup OR
england or your national country winning the world cup or euros?

would pick everton every time - club first regardless for me
if england eg won a trophy great but means more if your club wins a trophy

50/50 for me tbh. I don't live local and I don't know any other Everton supporters so although I'd be over the moon there's something about literally everyone you know and the whole country buzzing because England won something that would be equally as special.

I'd also love for my kid to share something with me that I've personally never experienced too, having that moment where we both watch England lifting a major trophy would be something both of us would never forget.

I understand why people don't really care much about England these days, and my love for the national team is certainly a lot less than it was when I was younger, but I still very much want to see England do something special in a major tournament.

Genuinely couldn't give two fucks about England winning a trophy.

I would love England to win the World Cup but I’d be amazed if anyone picked that before Everton winning anything.

A million percent Everton.

I would love England to win something but Everton winning a trophy would just be so many levels above.

Is this genuinely a question or a windup?

Definitely from the school of "would rather see Everton win a throw in".

Don't watch international football. Haven't watched it for 20+ years now and just find international breaks an irritant. I'd confine qualifying to odd numbered summers and tournaments to even numbered ones and not disrupt proper football at all that way.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Scotland winning the Euros or World Cup? That would be absolutely sensational and would be amazing to follow such a fairytale journey with other Scots here in Glasgow.

However no question, I’d prefer instead seeing Everton lift the Carabao Cup after a dull 0-0 final and scraping victory through a penalty shootout.

Everton all the time. However, the way the shite have tried to make a thing of scouse not English has made me support the national team again.

We're probably not much of a chance at the euros though, so, Everton.

Personally I reckon we've made it a kopite thing.
