Re: Dyche
Would love to see a change in formation 3-5-2 Pickford in goals tark Jared and myko/o Brien back 3 Patterson and McNeil wing backs gana mangala and Lindstrom in midfield with N’Diaye playing off dcl I think it gives us way better attacking shape
Re: Dyche
Reckon he's already booked in for that Sam Allardyce William Hill podcast?brap2 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 10:38 am He's also probably less incentivises right now to try stuff?
Why would he want to take a couple of hits when he has max half a season left. He's probably thinking, stay close to 1ppg, get clean sheets, and when I go I'll just shrug and quip about expectations and the position the club is in and the decision making, and walk onto my next job with my head high.

Re: Dyche
I agree really and just feel frustrated with his arrogance. We can't draw our way to safety though, so he either gets us back to attacking more like last season or we get relegated, which we'll sack him before that happens... win win. Imagine being shit at your job and getting millions to go quietlyAjaxAndy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 10:20 am I don't think it's anything to do with that tbh, I just think his way of working has stop being effective.
What he succeeded with previously was being aggressive and set piece goals... McNeil just doesn't bring that intensity Doucoure did in the 10 which means we have to play a more passive game, and we don't have any threat from set pieces any more because probably teams have figured out how to nullify us.
He probably though is happy to just draw our way to safety and hope we pick up the odd win as he's not really fighting for anything other than not being relegated or sacked before then. I think subconsciously it'll feed in to his 'don't lose' mentality as he's got more to lose by us being beaten than he has by to gain by us winning a match.
Re: Dyche
Related: the next game is our first Sunday game of the season, which I think is the latest ever for us in Premier League. And let's face it we're only on the telly because it's United.
The lack of TV time alone must be costing us a decent wedge.
