6 goals and 12 assists in 123 matches with us
7 goals and 3 assists in 39 matches for Fulham
the premier league says its 11 assists for us

so thats a ratio of 20.5 games per goal and a ratio of 11.1 games per assist

Or, roughly a goal every 5.5 games and an insist in every 12. Or, a goal scoring intervention every 4 games at a comparatively stable club under a reasonably progressive manager. Maybe that’s the underlying story here?

are you using his Fulham stats if so its an assist ratio of 13 games per assist just so we are accurate and that is even worse than his time here

Yep, my bad with the weird maths error! But the telling difference is overall he is involved in a goal every 4 games with Fulham, 1 in 6.83 while with us. That’s quite the improvement wouldn’t you agree? Different club, manager, system, attitude? Who knows? But definitely not garbage.

i guess more time is needed to to collect data, will he score the same this season or did he just have an outlier last season? time will tell i guess

Demarai Gray had a contribution every 4.7 yet most couldnt wait to get rid as he had no end product

Doucoure in 124 league games for us scored 16 goals a goal every 7.5 with 11 assists thats pretty much the same as iwobi, thats a contribution every 4.5 and i do remember arguing with numerous people on here who wanted to get rid of doucs instead of iwobi at that time, i still believe i am 100% correct on that, granted age is setting in with him now

i take your point he has somewhat improved but other players who were here at the same time as iwobi and even still here who havent gotten to play for fulham under a reasonably progressive manager performed much better than he did and still comparatively similar contributions to him at fulham, while they was playing under the likes of dyche benitez and lampard

i also cant look past the fact once iwobi was gone we finished mid table minus our deductions in points

I have not brought that man up since he left the club and yet I am @'d into conversations about him regularly. Are we entirely sure it is me with the fixation?

He's gone to Fulham, who are building a nice little side and currently sitting 6 places above us in the table. You'd rather watch...I dunno, Dwight McNeil get 7 assists a year off corners, that's fine, I get it, many would agree.

I'm glad that you feel correct about him, take them where you can get them I say.

it was not me who brought you up in the conversation

i do believe you was the most vocal in support for iwobi

as for McNeil he has a good shot on him but other than that he is very limited, i would have never signed him myself

I made them and I stand by them. There should have been discussions at least about replacements for him after our first five matches. Bottom 3 of every defensive statistic. Our most important season where we have to stay up.

After his 13 match winless run last season I think anyone that is concerned about our survival has reason to voice their opinion

I don't have a problem with anyone who wanted him out, I only brought it up because someone claimed nobody had made that shout and that some of us were 'mad' for suggesting anyone had.

It's okay matey no offence taken at all, the other fella lumping him in with Bolasie and Tosun was trying to bait as usual.

Created the same amount of chances.

I’d say McNeil probably comes out better in this considering the lack of ball we have compared to Fulham.

Add his ability from set pieces I’d say McNeil is a better player.
