Any reason given why he didn’t feature in the matchday squad today?

Yep he said that in his interview posted earlier, nothing to be worried about.

If the club will sell if the price is right they can’t say they’ve got no intention of selling him 🤷‍♂️

If there’s no financial need as they seem to be implying, Branthwaite’s valuation is only going to increase anyway as he progresses so it makes zero sense to sell him now.

Compensate. Like we feel for his loss and are only holding him back.

See the Mail are doing their usual anti Everton shit saying Branthwaite won't sign a contract unless we offer him 160k per week like united have...and so it begins

If true, i suspect that might be more agent led rather than player, and he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't. But let's be honest, and I know the sum's are astronomical for most of us, but if you were offered 160k a week and your employer blocked that move, albeit Man u had a hand in it too by not paying the fee we wanted, then subsequently offered you 110k to say sorry, it might not sit that well?

Maybe not, but that's not to be sniffed at for now, especially if I believe in another year of development and progress with guaranteed football I can stick another 100k on that. I'd be patient
