Yeah that December is brutal, but momentum is a key thing, we might be in our swing when we play these teams, who knows.

Going to have to make sure we don't reach the FA Cup final!

And how many of those will actually still end up being played on those dates becuase they're moved by Sky?

How far either side are/can matches be moved for TV, and how far out from the game are they moved?

Seen it happen often enough but I've never really compared initial fixture lists with when they're actually played. Realise the reasoning as to why it happens, just hadn't taken note.

I imagine the last game at Goodison will be moved for Tv.

Would hope when that happens they give plenty of notice for people to make arrangements.

It's always W/E games played Friday - Monday
Midweek games played Tues -Thurs

Unless the game gets rearranged because of other commitments, postponed. They always take place around the due date

Ffs, I'm away for the derby unless they move it to the Friday. Missed last season's because of work and now missing the last Goodison derby. Cursed!

Games picked for television rend to be announced the month before.

So best case scenario is 6 or 7 weeks notice, worst is 2 or 3 weeks.

When they're moved for cup games then there's only as much notice as there is time between rounds/replays

Just come from the Southampton forum where they're talking about relegating us, which is hilarious considering they needed a play-off to get out of the championship last season.

Saw their arses when we took Koeman. They didn't think we were a bigger club and have disliked us ever since.

Wish they fucking kept him, in hindsight

I dunno what it is but I’ve looked at these fixtures and I’ve not felt any dread over any period. Like Lizz said December is fucking ugly but I’ve no fear this year like I did last year. All the matches look winnable to me right now.

I might go for a check-up…

Booked the whole weekend up in Liverpool for the last home game. Might as well make the most of it
