I mean my evidence shows that the rules on administration were changed in 2008 to avoid clubs taking it on in the last week of a season to avoid a penalty the next season…

There is absolutely no indication that administration is even being considered. It’s a nuclear option, a last resort that no one wants.
It’s after all other options have been exhausted, and when a business isn’t making any money. That’s not the case with Everton. And there are clear reasons (massive stadium build) why we are struggling with cash flow at this moment in time. And it’s one that with time can be addressed.
I can see some sort of equity conversion with these loans. That’s the most likely option if it got to that point. Converting debt to equity is quite common and could even be an option in the covenants of the loan agreements.

The Esk is broadly well intentioned, and has been right about lots of stuff.
But over time he's fashioned an identity for himself as ''the explainer'', and he doesn't do well when other equally/more knowledgeable people challenge aspects of his thinking. This is why he's surrounded himself with a couple of ignorant lackeys on his podcast now, and why he doesn't do podcasts with John Blaine and people of that ilk anymore.
At one point he felt a responsibility to be the bearer of bad news, when it wasn't always fashionable, but now I think he gets off on it a bit and often strays into hyperbole and worst case scenario thinking to get his dopamine hits.
