Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Sadly, not the owners I expected.
Weird that they've never set foot in a new ground. Just odd.

Still stand by it won’t happen and its a “counter worry” being used to mask lack of incomings

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
This just sends a terrible message.
As soon as forest got in touch to see if he was available they should have been told to fuck off and don't come back with any improved offer, because he is not available, end of story.
This club is run by bungling amateurs with no idea what they're doing.
They can't get the players in we desperately need and then want to sell a young exciting player just making his way in the game when we are already short on numbers.
Absolute buffoons
Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
I get the thought process of selling him for pure profit with the financial rules.
Not for £40m though. They’re jumping at the first opportunity to make a profit on someone who could be worth double that.
Tells the fanbase everything we need to know about this lot.
Anything for a quick profit.

Sorry Guys for killing your enjoyment and am not being disrespectful in case you think I am .
Waited in the Cup game and other members posted before me , apart from the 4th Goal
Today a waited and posted same time as a few others
As regards notification on apps these are ahead of me , I can understand not having them turned on " Fotmob" etc .
I'll reserve posting straight away but be prepared some else will.
Sorry for the disrespect non intended.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
There'll be justification for selling a player like Armstrong in the future, if you develop an academy like Chelsea and you've got 7 or 8 of these sellable assets. So the model actually makes sense.TheRam wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2026 5:10 pm I get the thought process of selling him for pure profit with the financial rules.

But when he's the only one who's come through in years, the fans love him, he's clearly massively talented and with the historical trauma of Rooney etc, it would display a fundamental misunderstanding of the fanbase to sell him.
It would make the relationship with the fans beyond repair, almost no matter what we do on the pitch in the future.
Still hopeful it won't happen, and would assume Moyes is advising very strongly against it.

Mate who went the game said he was consoled by Tarks afterwards when they were singing his song, take it two ways, one he knows he’s going or two, he’s touched by the love shown to him.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
A very valid opinion (like many others of a similar tone) ONLY if there is any truth whatsoever to our considering selling him, Forest can make as many offers as they want but if we are unwilling to sell then how can you conclude that the fan base now “know everything they need know” about the owners ? For all you know Friedkin might have said tell them to piss off !TheRam wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2026 5:10 pm I get the thought process of selling him for pure profit with the financial rules.

It’s just not good for the lifeblood of the club.
This isn’t a Gordon situation where he needs to be sold to keep the lights on.
Cash in Ndiaye, cash in Garner. But not a potential homegrown star.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
He is a red like and from a family of reds (according to Baz from Toffee TV, who knows the family).
Maybe a move to Forest is his way of getting an eventual move to the shite, because he knows he won't be allowed to do it directly.
Semi-joking.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
And not until he’s realised his full worth - which will be a lot more than 40 million
We’re not cashing in on Armstrong - we’d be giving him away
