Yep, sounds like he’s off.
At the very least, they’re seriously considering selling him which is bad enough.
They might pull the plug at the last minute because of the fan reaction, but they probably don’t even care.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
To be fair all round he has just signed with a new agency, who have probably touted him around and Forest have offered to 10-20X his money.
We probably haven’t nor shouldn’t match it so if the lad wants to go in search of riches then so be it.
Shame all round but this is the modern game. Either he wants the money or the club wants the money, either way we move on as a club. As long as we reinvest it.

The argument for selling him is that academy players are pure profit, so it gives you a lot more spending room.
But I think any sale of Armstrong would be absolutely disastrous. The board would never recover from it in terms of reputation/attitude of the fans, regardless of the financials or the spending room it affords you.

Maybe the board think we’ll be happily dissatisfied.
I think they’re in for a rude awakening and that double glazing salesman of a CEO can get to fuck

If this goes ahead I'll never spend another penny supporting Everton as long as these cowboys are owners.
