Desperately clutching here but maybe he's been left out the squad because his head is all over the place. He's only 19 and this would be a huge deal for him. Didn't we do that with McNeil when the Palace move fell through?

Let it all blow over and then crack on in September.

Don't have a huge amount of conviction in what I'm saying but the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.

Is Phil up to date? Or is ornstein more knowing?
Ornstein is a proper stirrer from what I’ve seen, but also well informed.

McNulty has always seemed more solid and less sensationalist, so here’s hoping, me old blue mate 🤞🏼💙

Vibes are going to be rancid all season if we sell Armstrong, it almost doesn’t matter what we do on the other side.

Insane thing to consider for even a fraction of a second.

I’ve already had several blues message me about how he’s confirmed to be in contract talks with Forest after reading some jarg X account - couple of bad touches or lose possession and there would be some getting on at him for sure

Well, I would’ve always said that Everton has come the closest to me being actively religious, but if this happens I’ll embrace my paedo enabling Catholic school past

Quite apart from anything else this is short termism at its very worst. This lad is a nailed on £100m plus player in the near future. Selling him now for 40 million is utter madness.

People are furious at the club not the player

The club can’t entertain it.

If it does then I can see huge repercussions for the ownership. I can also see Moyes resigning. What does it actually say to the fans if they are selling a top prospect, one of their own, to an outfit like Forest?

It tells the fans, fuck you. There is no point in it all anymore.

£38m? To Nottingham Forest? How can they possibly accept that?

Moyes isn't going anywhere. He's on £5m a year.

I think you’re being too generous in how logically people will react, it’ll be a bunch of pissed up blues who’ve only heard the news on the way to the match and sharing mad rumours with each other like they’re facts

Hope the fans give the board a massive fuck you today. And that’ll only be the start

I'm still refusing to believe this until it happens.

We've sold out best players continuously over the past few years, and here we have a homegrown lad who looks a world beater for the fans to love and form a connection with, so this one would be ultra gauling should it happen.

In fact gauling isn't the right world. The reaction it'd generate from the fans, the fact the manager would probably walk, the turmoil and disconnect it'd create... Apocalyptical would be closer to the truth.
