He needs to show a lot more than he currently is, and i hate to say that. Johnson did more in 5 minutes.
He needs a loan and regular game time, and I hope he gets it tbh. If not I doubt we'll see him for a while.

I said in the match thread, thought he was fine. Lost the ball a few times but because he was trying things.
Nearly scored by creating something from nothing.
Ive seen enough to know he'll be quality if he keeps getting minutes, obviously my opinion like.
Plays like Grealish. What was Grealish doing when he was 20? At Villa in the championship, just broke into England u21s. Dibling is already ahead of that.
Not saying hes going to be Grealish level for sure but once it clicks for him theres potential for it to explode big time. Such good ball manipulation and awareness.

It was a really poor performance against poor opposition.
The only moment of quality was when he drifted to the right edge of the box, and then he showed what he's all about. That in itself says a lot though, he just doesn't get involved, doesn't make things happen and waits for it to... Then the one time he does make something happen he shows how much ability he actually has.
Johnson came on and made a huge difference, and let's face it took his chance to impress which Dibling didn't.
This pushes Dibling further away from game time as who would a manager give the minutes to next time? It won't be Dibling that's for sure.
There was a very telling moment at the end of the first half where Dibling flicked the ball to absolutely no one, and the camera switched to Irvine watching a monitor, sat there and shook his head three times as what I presume was him watching the incident.

Immense talent. Struggling to show it. Like it’s bottle necked or something.
Would ideally like to see him play in the 10 behind the striker because he never loses it, always makes time for himself and always finds a teammate. Would have to add through balls to his passing range as well as directly to someone.
Unfortunately I don’t think we can realistically afford to play him there.

I noticed a few times that when the ball went to him their full back immediately pressed to stop him turning, and he had to go backwards.
Not sure if he just isn't comfortable hugging the touchline, or there's something about that side of the pitch that limits his options.
As good as Armstrong has been, I wonder if Garner drifting in to that right inside channel in the way KDH does the left (with Norgaard as DM) might give him more link up options.

Not enough at the moment to be starting, seems to play with his head down and probably looks a little nervous.
Contrast to Armstrong who strides around the pitch demanding the ball and looks like he has played 300 first team games.

Agree with all of this. Thought he did fine last night. Great ball control, he has skill, pace. A bit more confidence, awareness of when to make runs, when to cut inside. Didn't see much of last night's game but seems he didn't set the world alight. I do understand the argument that he's looking more settled here and sending him elsewhere might damage that but when you look at the wide options we have then I don't see him getting a lot of game time this season.
Ndiaye(and/or Grealish), Johnson and George are all going to be ahead of him and it's not like Moyes is the king of rotation as it is.
I'd rather he didn't go to Preston because they look rubbish but a local club like Burnley or Blackburn would be really good for him imo.

Think he should be our backup number 10 this season. He doesn't look like a premier league winger to me.
But ultimately, i don't think he's good enough (or the type of player) to be a success at Everton.

Yep looks much more like he'd be suited to AM than LW.
Not sure why we haven't tried it, maybe Moyes thinks he'd give the ball away too much in the middle of the park, but I actually think he'd potentially shine there.
