There’s been a lot of copium in this thread over the summer.
But they can’t do it! Not this time, NOT LIKE THIS D:

Summer Transfer Window 2026

We’re an absolute fucking joke. Leaving it late to save a couple of million and we’ll end up massively overpaying for a shit right back anyway. No wonder Moyes was pissed off yesterday, probably came off pitch and found out we’ve missed out on Munoz and losing N’Diaye

I reckon we'll get a Ruben Vinagre style loan for a RB who's never going to play.

Don't think it's unfair to say every single member of the recruitment team and the manager should be fired out of a cannon into the sun if they don't get a suitable right back in.

Could see Jimmy Garner getting some minutes there too. Norgaard and Armstrong in the middle.

Explains why we're so stacked for centre mids.

Maybe in the growing ennui, but whenever we are linked with a RB I am always forced to remember that I absolutely thought that Patterson was the solution to all our problems 🤔

Rohl will probably be alright there tbh. It’s just more like…nothing changes does it

Has the attributes to be an excellent right back. A gamble though.

He only needs to learn on the job while in the harsh glare of the toughest league in the world.

No biggie.

Does he even want to play there?
