I'd be absolutely gutted but if we're going to lose Ndiaye then at least he'd be going for big bucks and we'd be getting Grealish as part of the deal which is about as well as losing Illi can go

Hopefully it’s down to Moyes and the player and they both say frigoff

Arsenal also very interested. A City bid could flush out a counter offer.

Re: Iliman Ndiaye (New Sofa Incoming!)
Ndiaye has been making noises since end of last season.
It’s a shame though as Grealish does add some skill but we’re going to miss Ndiaye’s work rate and running. I’d actually prefer if we just took the money and got Ndiaye’s Senegal understudy Diao who we were earlier linked with.

Does it even work like that anymore? Feels like they all arrange the price behind the scenes and just try and beat the other on wages.MmmBlueBranthwaite wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 12:58 pm Arsenal also very interested. A City bid could flush out a counter offer.
It’s not often you get a legit “bidding war” it feels like these days.

Always felt like he was off.
Good for him. He deserves this move.

It's not, well, it's not if we invest it well and get Grealish back.
Grealish is arguably better than him, and if we get him plus 50m+ and reinvest it into quality players then the squad should be significantly stronger

Sad to see him go as it will weaken us significantly. Still, it is Everton so we can look forward to signing a shadow of him when he's 31.

We need all the money plus grealish. We cant get suckered into paying a fee for grealish in a swap deal. 80m and grealish

Re: Iliman Ndiaye (New Sofa Incoming!)
Completely disagree. Ndiaye is younger and a different player.
Selling your best players doesn't encourage others to sign and doesn't take the club forwards.
Keeping them is a sign of intent
Not selling.
