Yeah. I really like Alcaraz but last season he was a bit behind everyone else to start in midfield and we’ve got even more strength and competition for places.

Really like the fella but get him gone for the sake of the fullback fund!

End of transfer window is Sept 1st.

Does that mean up to midnight 31st Aug - or Sept 1st is last trading day?

Ideally you'd want to get rid of all the ones entering their final year; Beto, Tim, Alcaraz, Patterson and Keane.

Probably best part of £50m there if we can get someone to take them.

According to transfer market both Beto and Tim have options to extend for an additional year

Usually the deadline is 11pm, and as August 31 is a Bank Holiday I'd expect it's Tuesday 1 September

I think this window is one of those 5pm deadlines they throw in every now and then.

Well we must be desperate for a right back (and left back) if FullBack Everton pages are a thing these days.

It was never likely was it.

Moyes will up his pursuit of the injured Canadian Warwick Davis then.

It was my main bone of contention last year and looks to be the same this year.

The recruitment team's job isn't to find good players, any cunt with football manager can do that. It's to find players that we can get at the time we want to get them that will improve our team and are financially sensible.

It's a tall order, but it's why it's not a minimum wage job.
