Summer Transfer Window 2026
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Yeah Beto is more of a worry - especially if Barry gets injured/suspended/loses form
Poor back up

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Do we really need a striker though when keane or i don't know pickford could play there?Evertonian418 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2026 4:46 pm Can't see us buying a rightback when Rhol,Garner and O'Brien can play there. Would rather a striker bought to replace Beto.

He didn’t suddenly become a bad player would still have Munoz in a heartbeat

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
I want a right back and would have loved a really good striker but first of all just give us a quality defensive midfielder with pace and dynamism who can keep running for 120 minutes and win every battle there is. And give me Grealish too!

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
I love Beto for his attitude and desire, but he's poor overall... unless, we play a particular way, which we won't or can't without it impacting elsewhere. We need a finisher. Barry is good at hold up, but he's not a finisher imo.
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Mad take, Barry's shot conversion last season was something like 22% to Haaland's 24%Paddockoldie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2026 7:12 am I love Beto for his attitude and desire, but he's poor overall... unless, we play a particular way, which we won't or can't without it impacting elsewhere. The one thing Barry most definitely is is a finisher
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Always thought Barry’s a decent finisher and that it’s the rest of his game that’s been lacking. DCL’s all round game & Barry’s finishing would make a heck of a CF

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Barry gets such a bad time from some of our supporters he scores goals that’s what a striker is supposed to do not run the channels bashing people Beto should go considering his contract situation but not delap to replace him
