I’ve only watched him in about 10 games (twice that I can remember against us) and on zero occasions have I thought to myself “I wish he played for us”

If he was 10-20m he would be worth a punt where we would be guaranteed to make our money back. But at these prices it’s a no from me ( not that it matters)

I was meh about him when we were first linked with him last summer.

30m for a 30 year old in his last year of his contract whos on crazy wages isn't wanted at his club and has been injured for 6 months. Would be madness. Im not sure its a clever idea on a free.

I genuinely dont see how hes worth a fee. Last year city paid 5m of his wages not to have him. This year after 6 months injured his value has gone from minus 5m to city to plus 30??

He would probably do very well in Serie A, and eventually become very expensive and courted by English clubs for £100m plus.

Players like Che Adams are decent forwards in Serie A at the moment.

It's smart for foreign clubs to buy young English players. They often end up selling them back to England for big money.
