Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
One of those players I know the name of but could not tell you anything about. Instantly forgettable, which doesn't suggest we should be spending decent money on bringing in.
Is he a winger? Is he fast?
Actually has decent numbers for last season tbf, but generally know pretty much nothing about him.

Didn’t we hire the academy director from Man U? Maybe these are the kids he wants us to target? Just speculating. I have no idea and no ITK
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Doubtful there's anything in this - would just be the Aznou problem for us, on the other side.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
I don’t see it as a problem. Having a solid defender and a young talent to develop. Probably why we’re targeting cheap experienced right backs. I’m not in the tired joke of ‘if Moyes will play them’ camp as I don’t think Aznou is ready for serious prem minutes although I think he might get more game time season.
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Reckon there's anyone else with a pair of shite centre-backs we could convince to do swap deals with Keane and Tarkowski?
They might well be as bad, they might be worse, but we wouldn't *know* they were until they'd actually played. So that'd be a positive.
Schroedingers Yard Dogs.

Kind of like the idea of Brennan Johnson/Dibling in front of Hector Fort, and Iliman/George in front of Aznou.

Yeah it’s a nice idea, but we know it will be Mykolenko and at best AWB, at worst poor old Jake still
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Leighton won Moyes over when only Irvine rated him. Let's see.sam of the south wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2026 9:48 pm Yeah it’s a nice idea, but we know it will be Mykolenko and at best AWB, at worst poor old Jake still
Hibbo very much the Myko mirror image though I concede.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Hibbert was at least strong defensively, Mykolenko is just a weak link all round really
