Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
Tomiyasu has gone to Palace for free, surely he could have been an option, even as back up?
Yeah he's had bad injuries and he's been on trial there but for free it must be worth the gamble to a club who is desperate for a rb. Why didn't we go for a trail with him?
I don't understand this club.

Would absolutely hate AWB here. He's been part of more attacking teams than us and failed to be anything going forward. Him and Mykolenko as fullbacks is a horrific thought.
He was being kept out the team by Kyle Walker-Peters at times last season.
Just because some these players are better than what we have or better than nobody doesn't mean we have to sign them

I swear it's some kind of reserve phycology they're playing on us.Shogun wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2026 9:22 am Would absolutely hate AWB here. He's been part of more attacking teams than us and failed to be anything going forward. Him and Mykolenko as fullbacks is a horrific thought.

AWB has always been the number 1 target, but they saw some of the fans outrage, highlighting he's the right back equivalent of Myko. So they then put out a load of links to absolute wank right backs, knowing we'd then be delighted when they do go back in for AWB as he's better than the other links.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
I think it’s up to all of us to continue to go through the stages of grief, and come to acceptance as soon as possible.
At best, we are a mid table squad, at worst we are going to be in amongst the bottom 6 clubs. We probably won’t be relegated and we probably wont win anything. We will have some good games and results which will build hope and belief. And then we will fuck it up by going out of the FA Cup in the 4th round at home to Watford.
I think our squad is “alright” with some half decent players capable of good performances. But the league is now so rich that Spurs, who finished 17th for two seasons in a row, are buying £100m players. There is no way we can compete with that, I just don’t know where we go from here other than to keep rebuilding our club from the rubble of the last 8 years, and hope that we can do what Villa have done.

Hobson's choice, all options so far poop.
Is Hobson available?
