If there is quality to be had in the free agents market then I’m all for this.

He’s fast, will get up the pitch too…think this could be an astute bit of business. Probably rather this approach than paying 15 mil for maybe just an ok solution if money is tight.

Was really rated when he was younger as an attacking wide man with blistering pace.

Did have a bad ACL I think it was and ended up floating around Monaco not really tearing up trees.

Diatta is interesting. Seems like he mostly played as a winger and wing back to start his career. Maybe he’s pivoted into playing more as a defender post-ACL injury? WhoScored has his making most of his appearances as a standard right back last season with some wing back mixed in.

Rowe is talented (see the blurb after Garnacho, https://www.thetransferflow.com/p/what- ... -with-117m) but you usually expect some cost savings when you go in for someone with a questionable personality. €35m is already a bit high for my taste. He’s not Drenthe or van der Meyde levels of cheap.
