Most of those rumors seem to be purely from Turkish outlets. Doubt there is much in it.

Yeah. It feels like a winger capable of playing for a top half Premier League team wouldn’t be playing in Turkey beyond his very early 20s. Every league is scouted these days and there’s stats on every player.

From his youtube comps, he looks quite rapid but think his end product is poor.

Yilmaz looked decent for Turkey in the WC. Scored in the game I watched. Hes rapid for a big lad (6ft 1) and puts in a defensive shift. Not prolific as metioned but he does score a good few goals a season. Interestingly, he has a great injury record and has played lots in recent years.
