He should stay if they value him at £20m.

Be fucking livid if we paid any more than £10m for a peak age player whose highest level in club football is Scotland.

Let’s get Mason Greenwood and Thomas Partey in whilst we’re at it

Again, I tbink Johnson is better than what we have.

Probably a low level prem/high level Champ player.

Not sure his ceiling is where we want to be - I dont think he is a European level RB.

As a Canadian Ill say he is a great character, tenacious, driven, is physically strong, decent defender but will be lacking going forward.

I thought he had a good world cup but his attacking stats are bumped up by the beatdown we put on Qatar.

Better than what we have now but if we are paying £20m for him it will almost certainly be a mistake and at his age dead money.

I would love to see him in the PL but at that price not for Everton.

Depressing as shit this. Hardly any of those are actual RB's either.

Does the scouting/recruitment whoever they are have network that only looks for players within the british Isles.

Yikes. So he’s a wrong’un as well? I didn’t know.

I don’t really follow what’s going on with players unless they’re our own.

I think that's definitely more of a Moyes thing with how high he values the "right character".

Rohl/Aznou both came from Germany recently and they're definitely from our recruitment team not Moyes

It's a very uninspiring but fine choice for a season if it's under £10m given his age and limited quality.

For the £20m being talked about though it's the sort of deal we can't afford to throw money away on

I'd be massively underwhelmed and concerned if Alastair Johnson is the best we can come up with after years of knowing we need a RB.
