Just feels like a typical summer for us.

Maybe a flurry of activity in the two weeks before the season starts but seems unlikely at this stage.

Need to move a few players on and desperately need at least a RB.

Probably need someone to replace Gana but maybe we will just see more of Tim and Rohl beside Garner. Maybe Armstrong as well.

None are near Gana level though so it feels to me like we are potentially weaker at CM despite adding Hackney who I feel will compete with KDH.

Because it’s well documented that moyes wants to bring in experienced players and not young players look at last summer window dibling never played same with Rohl alcaraz Armstrong etc he wants ready made prem proven whereas all the noise from the club is they prefer younger players to develop

Brentford in for Diouf at West Ham, while we give Mykolenko a contract extension.

It's only been said in the I paper this week, that's not well documented.Do you seriously think Dibbling should have been playing last season?

Yeah I do I think a more progressive less conservative coach would have played him way more we blew most of our budget on him not to play him

Leaving all this business to the end is very dangerous if we still have hold of the players we need to sell to make funds by the end of the window. When we finally need to make a move, but still have Dwight McNeil on the books and have no money….

that leads to us starting the new season with Dwight McNeil and trying to do crazy, overpriced January business.

Linked again with Nestory Irankunda. Too much money and he doesn't track back and might upset the dynamics of the changing room, but he'd be very exciting off the bench. Free kicks, running at defenders, no fear.

I'd never heard of him, but seems like an extremely raw talent with very high potential after doing a bit of reading.

Apparently Watford rejected £10m bids from Sporting and Celta Vigo I think it was, and Hull are in fairly advanced talks. So probably wouldn't be an expensive gamble if we went for him.

He's electric and really quite brilliant. Worth checking out his goal against Turkiye, and free kick for Watford.

To be honest I'm a bit surprised he's wasn't mentioned much during our first world cup game.

Tim Cahill is his hero too...

Have watched him pretty regularly in the ALeague before he left for Bayern - he'd get bums off seats - a couple here from when he was 15... he's maybe a bit of a highlight reel player.

Bit like Rooney in some respects - was playing in our top league muscling players off the ball at 15. Powerful and direct and an eye for goal.
