Isn’t he in talks to sign for PSG? If he’s failing he’s doing it upwards.

I’ve accepted France are shite and I’m enjoying Yamal, Rodri and Dani Olmo.

This is it, isn't it.blueToffee wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2026 7:47 pm I get it, I just think Yamal absolutely plays for it too the way he went into it.
I'm leaning to the opinion though that not all fouls in the box should lead to such huge rewards like a penalty when it's not a goal scoring chance. If that was a free kick, I think that'd be more proportional to the situation.
When the reward promotes cheating, simulating, or at the very least promotes actions against the spirit and the object of the game...
Without the penalty call, the xG of Yamal scoring there, or even having posession of the ball was zero. Why reward that with a goal.

Re: World Cup 2026
It’s a modern day penalty that, like many established things in modern football, has just sucked all the fun and spontaneity and free flow of what “old” football used to offer.Cods wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2026 8:29 pm This is it, isn't it.
