This is a nice thought, but it’s crazy talk. Moyes ain’t playing a new, young rb and Dibling together.

Probably not but there’s some sense in it balance-wise.

Myko’s contract suggests we won’t be going for a LB. He’s a solid defender, poor attacker.

Ndiaye and George are our most direct threats from the wing and both prefer the left. Pairing them with someone more defensive in nature makes sense.

Then, on the right side, we have Dibling holding the ball up and allowing a more attacking RB to get forward.

Leaves us with a lack of depth at right wing and makes Grealish slightly irrelevant but you can see how the pieces might fit together.

Yes I fully agree with you.

Just can’t see Moyes doing it in a million years.

Id be really surprised is dibling suddenly starts playing lots of games for us. He was so far down the list last season. Feels like moyes doesnt fancy him at all and I dont see that suddenly completely changing over 1 pre season

Depends on him now, he’s going to get chances in pre season, up to him to force Moyes’ hand.

Strong rumours tonight… Everton have reached a full agreement to sign Pape Gueye from Villarreal! The Toffees will pay around £24m + £4m in add-ons for the powerful 27-year-old Senegalese midfielder. Gueye impressed at the World Cup and adds athleticism & versatility to David Moyes' midfield. Fourth signing of the summer already.

How very uncreative of Everton to replace Senegalese Gueye with Senegalese Gueye 🤣

That's three Gueyes we've had in the last 15 years? Pretty progressive from the club

Think that rumour comes from AfricaFoot originally, and you'd probably need a few truckloads of salt.

Gana Gueye
James Garner
Papa Gueye

I mean, as a plot to confuse the opposition as to who theyre getting closed down by and who theyre supposed to be picking up it may have its merits.
