I was saying Hackney and KDH competing for the advanced CM role ~10 role imo.
Garner I think will play every single possible game, sometimes in other positions.
And I think he wants a more dominant, positive, positionally aware 6.
It’s 4/5 players into 38 games plus cups, not into 3 positions.
Yes fully agree and that's the point I was also making but for some reason that seemed to be missed.
Liz said Hackney would be starting and my question was instead of who, but that wasn't answered and I was referred to your post which was basically what I was saying

Thats a bit like the "if trump cured cancer people would moan nonsense" we consistently signed shite. People moan because they've consistently given us something to moan about and now theres little confidence in them. Its fair enough
In all the years I’ve been on this forum and right from the start of the initial blue room forum…I’ve never read a more moaning whining poster than you…..
I go with the ethos of everyone is entitled to their opinion and fair enough…but the constant negativity from you makes me wonder whether you really do support Everton or just like to bitch about them….i’ll apologise now for my bitching.….
Problem with having competition for places, different profiles for different types of matches, and a general need for rotation is that Moyes is utter dogshit at using a squad.
Flogs his best-in-training eleven to death until injuries make him do something else.
I thought he might be a changed man after returning. He is not.
I’d love a versatile, well constructed squad but he is not the man to use it properly.

I know and all while weve been doing so well. I bitched when kenwright was in charge and was told hes a good blue. I bitched when moshiri was in charge and was told he was a billionaire accountant and its not our money. Time and time again they've made a fool of me. Success after success.
Guess I should apologise for being so negative this last decade or so.

The point to counter that to some extent is probably that Moyes is expecting/planning to get to a position where we're playing 90 on the weekend, and another 90 midweek.
Players are going to have to have 90 in their tank, and quite a bit more.
I get the tactician stuff isn't great either mind, but I think base standards around fitness do need to be started from a long run up. (No preseason for new signings doesn't help at all).
We can't have like this year where our strikers were lasting 60 at best before visibly wilting, without operating at full speed, even if they're arguably worked harder earlier in games than most.

This, sadly. We’ll go out of the cups early as usual and we won’t even need a decent squad once we settle into January.
I won’t be getting excited until we have a different man at the helm.
anyways. Hackney, welcome to the club son. Encouraging stats from his recent years and mad keen to get going for us if the rumour are to be believed that he only had eyes for us.
