Re: Patterson Future
I didn't think he was great. Presumably Hickey had a knock as Ralston came on but I can't see Patterson starting against Brazil.
Re: Patterson Future
Thought he was alright tbh deffo didn’t stand out as complete tosh, but I don’t think he ever has

Re: Patterson Future
He’s looked dodgy and made mistakes early on, but a lot of that was due to inexperience, rustiness and a sore arse due to all the splinters. Early injuries and a shed load of managers hasn’t helped him either. Should have gone on loan last season.
Re: Patterson Future
Considering he's not been trusted enough to get on the pitch a lot of the season, he's done himself pretty well in this world cup.
And no, that's not saying he's been brilliant. But based on last season and him watching Jake O'Brien from the bench then you'd have expected 2/10 performances this tournament from him.
No future at Everton I'm sure but might help us get a bit of money for him.

Re: Patterson Future
I hope he goes just so we can not have the constant debate about why he hasn't played under numerous managers again next season.
Needs to sign for a championship team or maybe go back to Scotland and try build some sort of career before it's too late.
It's a shame it didn't work out here but the reality is he was never actually good enough, and we gambled on a potentially promising young player that didn't work out. It happens but he's stuck around for far too long, and it's time for him to find his level and play regular senior football

Re: Patterson Future
Tavernier has left Rangers and Aarons is back at his parent club. So there could be a chance for Patterson to return there

If we can make a small profit on him then sound.
Shame, had high hopes for the lad.

Re: Patterson Future
Surely there’s no chance of that, can’t remember what he cost now, but it was stupid money, iirc about £15m for a Scottish lad with about 20 appearances to his name.
Such a shame, for him and us.

yeah ideal for nath to get back to rangers at RB - and under derek mcinnes management too would be big improvement there for the gers
thought he was outstanding when he played for rangers
