Moyes has a year left on his current contract. Maybe he focusing on getting another one, over taking us forward much?

“He was trying to see into the stadium for free because who’s going to spunk £50+ on a pre-season friendly ticket?”

With that in mind, unless we're definitely prepared/intending to offer him an extension, it'd be a little silly to give him huge say in what the recruitment should be really.

If he gets the right results, it's possible they could give him longer. It's a results game after all.

Not good enough for Everton mate. I remember we bought Barrie, he was no spring chicken and was near enough our best player. Bowen? Pft

I deffo think we should spend £40-50m on a 29 year old, just deffo a good idea that won’t immediately bite us on the arse

Still early though, as frustrating as it is, there haven't been many signings by anyone.

Think the positive is that we must be targeting players at the world cup given the lack of movement.

The negative is that those players are Soucek and Wan Bissaka.

Just need to wait for Cape Verde and Curacao to get knocked out so we can get our main targets

I would be happy with Maitland-Niles or Wan-Bissaka for reasonable fees.

Poor age profiles but I think they’d both be quality additions.

I really don’t mind adding a handful of good older players as long as fees and wages are under control and the balance tilts towards younger ones who can be sold for a profit.
