I like how he then goes 'oh I think that's harsh' after the replays showed it was definitely a penalty, purely because he's too much of a knob to admit he's wrong.

Even when he was saying he was right he was saying the touch on the ball was late (which makes it a foul) and then when var gets involved he sort of says its probably a pen. Then he says its harsh. Like he doesnt even know the rules and having an argument with himself

Messi again. Ronaldo must be fuming about now.

Hasn't been a particularly great game.

Refs have been pretty bad too. The first goal shouldn't have stood with the earlier foul.

That's another issue of Martinez's, hasn't the bottle to drop Ronaldo.

Norway vs Senegal is probably the most interesting game in the entire group stage but on too late for me.

Will catch the full game tomorrow wfh.

That’s if fucking BBC news don’t spoil it for me like they have the last few mornings.

I don’t need the results from a news app. Come on.

Agreed.

Although Messi should have seen red last game but VAR somehow managed to miss that one.

Messi isn’t going to be highest World Cup scorer for long

They’ll need to start throwing more penalties Argentina’s way

Obviously it's only Iraq here but there's such pace and running in behind with this France front 4 and you can even throw Cherki in there at some point.

Upamecano and Saliba is such a solid pairing as well.

Massive favourites in every match surely
