Don’t think he’s been remotely close to how bad our fans say he is.

He's definitley not shite, just not good enough to balance against the other negatives.

The good news is that if one goal Delap is worth £40m then Barry with 8 must be worth £320m.

Does anybody think there was a CB in the league last season that went home thinking "Jesus, that Thierno Barry gave me a tough time today. Hope I don't have to play him again"?

Most CBs had him in their pocket with ease.

Just get rid, he's not cut out for this league and although people treat him like a 17 year old, he's actually 23 and showing little sign of coming to terms with the physicality of the league.

He lost his starting place to Beto last season. Beto.

He scored about 9 league goals for Villarreal in a team where Ayoze Perez scored about 10 more.

The Man City centre halves seemed to have a bad time.

He clearly isn't cut out for the intensity of this league.

A lot of players struggle with the step up from abroad to be fair, but you can usually see some recognition of the levels they know they need to offer in terms of effort and the gradual improvements as their first season progresses.

The second half of the season goals masked the fact he wasn't progressing at all and by the end of the season he clearly didn't want to be out there. For various reasons.

He's a quality finisher but I think he's more a poacher type than a target man, and he doesn't seem willing to learn the side of the game required to compete at this level.

If still keep him and sell Beto though, especially as Beto only has 2 years left on his contract so his value will massively decrease after this summer, or heaven forbid we offer him a new contract

Don’t think the colour of the skin is an issue with any (or majority) of us.
What’s POTY?

Also not buying the skin colour argument either as plenty love Beto and he's both black and shit.

Good news is if we just want someone to run around and get stuck in there's plenty of them about.

If Delap is the answer, then we're asking the wrong question.
