Was linked with him long before benitez. Hes just an Everton mistake. Its ingrained in us. Can't just point the finger at 1 person. Everyone of our million unexplainable decisions goes through numerous incompetent people

Yeah but Benitez absolutely hounded Digne out, so Mykolenko became an instant starter.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2026 6:58 pm Was linked with him long before benitez. He got a payrise and to play for a very good villa team while we were signing rondon, gray and townsend and talking about going out of existence. Bentiez was a rotten choice for us and hes genuinely a bottom of the barrel manager now (who we apparently paid 10m a season) but even the worst of him was just the club going in the direction it was always heading but just a bit quicker

Re: Mykolenko
He can't kick the ball properly. Like his technique is dreadful. The ball doesn't come off his foot the way it should for any professional footballer, nevermind a Premier League player on millions a year. It's bizarre.

On my Friday games, we have a few players who arent that good really but trying to improve. One person was saying about struggling to trap the ball and watching me and a few others smash it around before we began and controlling it and laying it off etc.
I told her that she should try to softly control the ball with side of foot, not put her foot on top of the ball to stop it. because not only is it better (wont fly under her foot) but shes got her body in position to play the ball to someone else.
Anyway. When i was watching the match yesterday, i kept fucking thinking Mykolenko is so bad at controlling and playing the ball off. Its mad.
Re: Mykolenko
Did you see him roam onto the right hand side against Sunderland then try to kick the ball with his right foot? Genuinely looked like a toddler kicking the ball.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2026 7:02 am He can't kick the ball properly. Like his technique is dreadful. Re: Mykolenko
That made me laugh when he did that, was so ungainly and without any technique what so ever.
Re: Mykolenko
Problem is I actually think he is trying really hard and just about playing above his own level. Just. It’s worrying
Re: Mykolenko
He’s just not at the level of a Premier League footballer and no amount of ‘blocking’ or ‘tackling’ stats will ever convince me otherwise.

In this day and age, we need more than Myko can give us.
Lovely lad, but criminal to extend his contract unless the intent is to play him as backup, because he really hurts us going forward.
