I think you get one of the coaching staff to like one of the players posts on instagram and take it from there

Hopefully that transpires and we aren't left scrambling around at the end of the window again.
I remember that well, it was during the interviews whilst on tour, had a proper go at the recruitment team.
That was a shocking pre season.

The funniest thing about that deal was that Kyle Walker was the tag on when he picked spurs. The 1 we wanted turned out to be shit anyway

He did hard time under Kenwright, waiting until the end of every window to move on things.

Now that we actually have cash to spend, I wouldn’t want to wait around either.

My expectation will be that Moyes might not like him, and I think Dibling in the ten is probably the better player (how good would Dibling highlight reel be if he had 2 years in the 10 at a top champo club?)

But he dribbles, he plays balls into the final third, he creates chances from open play.

I’d like to watch him play for Everton. But we will need a top deep midfielder please.
What does a top deep midfielder do that the modern incarnation of Garner doesn’t?

Genuine question - I’m sure there are better players but not game changingly so. RB, LB, RW, LW & ST way more important priorities than another CM

I think we probably want a Gana replacement not a Garner one tbh.

Garner had more successful tackles than any other midfielder in Europe's too leagues last season, so his place in the team you'd imagine is safe.

As is KDH's, so we have a ball winner, an advanced dribbler and goal threat, so what we need is someone who can pass well, progressively whilst also being good at carrying the ball forward.

I haven't really seen anything of Hackney but the little I've read make him sound exactly that profile.

I think Hackney and KDH are sharing the same spot, we don’t have enough of the ball to have two players like that in there.

What we need is an athletic press merchant who can cover as much ground as Gana did and win the ball high up the pitch - Tim fits the bill and we should be looking to him as long as Moyes is in charge.

There’s no point signing a metronome, Moyes sides don’t use one

I watched that YouTube video on him and he does the things you're wanting.

We missed out on Wharton who is now a 50 million player this guy has it all to be as good needs a proper coach who will get the best out of him which might be a problem but for anything under 20 million he is a bargain

Why is KDH's role in the side a given?

I think garner is a good DM and he sees himself as a 6 i think he’s said. Doesn’t seem to have convinced the manager, though.

I think I’d like someone who can play quicker? Get us playing on the ball, up the tempo, play vertically. I think I’d like someone who defends space a bit better as well. Pace and power as well.

I get it though he’s a good player not in a rush to replace considering the terrible options elsewhere but imo we’ll see some evolution in CM this summer, especially with potentially Tim Charly and Gana maybe going and Moyes using KDH as a forward really…are you that confident in our CM options?
