Agreed, although this feels like the type of analysis we would use as a club. He's twice as good as Tonali and only a quarter of the price, let's get him in.

You could call the design : How to Lose 4-2 to Goals On the Break, or maybe Please Please Please Will Someone Track a Runner

Re: Hayden Hackney
Doesn’t sound very Moyes.
Sounds a bit like young Barkley? Who Moyes didn’t trust at all tbh
Re: Hayden Hackney
Sorry, just cannot get excited about another exciting young talent rotting on our bench because Davey doesn't trust him. Absolute waste of £20m if Moyes never plays the lad.
Re: Hayden Hackney
Palace spent £20m on Wharton a couple of years ago, so seems about right. I can't imagine a championship side (one that have been there a while) can really afford to just let a player run out his contract and leave something like £15m on the table.
Re: Hayden Hackney
Yeah push him up the pitch. He looks great fun. Skinning people and drilling through balls into the strikers feet? A lot bigger than I thought as well.
Honestly I thought he was a little pass pass pass guy and he’s not at all.
Will say - I think dibbster could skin people and run with the ball from the ten?
Re: Hayden Hackney
"He won possession back 205 times, the seventh-highest figure in the league, a reflection of his work rate, anticipation and willingness to graft for the team."
Sounds very Moyes. Haven't seen anything of him either. We're lightweight in the middle but if he's winning balls, along with Garner & Tim and clever enough to work in with KDH then it sounds OK. Half suspect Tim was initially used to ensure Gana didn't trigger the extra year but might have suprised Moyes a little. Room enough for all 4 (& Charly?) if they're good enough.

Re: Hayden Hackney
He’s basically a young KDH, if he comes he’ll definitely be rotating in the ten and not partnering Garner in the double pivot.
Obviously a talent and a good price but I feel there are higher priorities for us - depends how much budget we have this year
