I think he’s going to smash it personally and will be a good fit for Flick - he’s a bit of a whiner off the pitch but he presses very very well and wouldn’t be surprised to see him make a similar step up to what Raphinha did

Probably benzos, think it's quite common for players to take them in order to sleep well before matches. They're very addictive though and can lead to players sourcing them illegally as doctors are very reluctant to prescribe them even short term.

The headline sounds bad, and I have no sympathy for anyone driving whilst impaired, but plenty of footballers have been on top of the world only to see it all fall apart and not know how to cope... Can be a brutal industry and more should be done to support mental health for those whose careers have got the skids, or are nearing the end.
