This “happily dissatisfied” quote really getting hammered in the end of season pods. To think that we were above Sunderland that day when Kinnear said it in the program notes, when we’d essentially waved the white flag on Europe - only for Sunderland to get there ahead of us. I keep getting new waves of anger over it
A proper Kenrightism that really makes me worry about the ambition of those in charge.
Should really have be a seperate thread for our board and Kinnear as the Freidkins aren’t really involved in the day-to-day running of the club. Has Dan even been to the stadium this season? Been a regular at Roma games.
I was thinking this the other day, I don’t recall him ever being there, you’d imagine he would have been at least once.

He was there with his son for tge pre season game against Roma.
Lots of Serie A and Roma fans saying there's nothing in that story. Just agent talk. Roma don't have 55m Euros to spend on one player for a start. Sounds like his agent is trying to get him out of Marseille and putting stories out.

Yep, I know they don’t like being in the limelight, but a quick walk on to the pitch for a wave to the fans would have been good.
Nah they should be getting on the blower to a radio chat show host to blab our summer transfer plans to everyone

Could not give the smallest tiniest monkeys uncle about this, I genuinely couldn’t.
Just do the right things, don’t care if we never see hide nor hair as long as the club moves forward.
Think it's important when it comes to custodianship and accountability if there's thought towards fan's 'buy in'... or maybe they're there just for 'fans buying'.
Seems we know as much about the current owners and what they want to do with the club as the last, even if they seem more legitimate.
Does their definition of success match up with ours? Beyond success on the pitch bringing financial success.
And what does it cost them to wave at the crowd once a season. Where's the humanity in this (as in many a) corporate juggernaut if that's too much to ask?
