No, it’s just the reality, it’s ridiculous the level of belief that were it not for Branthwaites injuries we’d be flying up the league table, we need to get used to him not being availlable.

I think there was a lot of hope we'd both sign a right back and see branthwaite play way more, and the Keane would be the emergency option.

Who knew that we'd go another two transfer windows without signing a rightback.

I think most of us knew in our heart of hearts that Keane would play loads.

1. He’s a good lad and a good pro, huge plus points for Moyes.

2. We haven’t signed a decent right-back for 20 years (Oviedo was alright)

3. Branthwaite is made of glass.

4. Moyes loves playing a young cb (JOB) at fb.

To be fair I think Moyes proved he wants to play Branthwaite but the lad appears fucked. Don't know whether he rates O Brien enough and that's my concern for next season. If he sees him as a utility player we'll see Keane and Tarkowski for 30 games

I reckon OBrien is now primed for CB just as Lescott was. He'll replace Tarks and Branthwaite will replace Keane.

As soon as Moyes/ the new transfer committee get an ideal RB identified that they're happy with...

Should be a backup centre back but it all depends on if Branthwaite is fit.

If Coleman signs another one year contract then that tells me O’Brien will likely be our right back again next season.

If Coleman signs another playing contract then the club needs nuking from orbit.
