You do have to acknowledge that probably isn't the case now though. Same with a lot of these players. Once they get abuse from their boyhood clubs then they quickly stop becoming a fan. The longer it goes without him being tied down to a new deal the more worried I'll be. Really like him and he should get more playing time. Get the deal sorted, and play him next season.
