Different positions but is he really any smaller or more slight than Max Dowman?

What standard is Ipswich under 21s though.

Certainly isn’t even close to league two.

It's difficult to say how good he is, the U21's is a million miles from the PL. I knows Moyes isn't the biggest fan of chucking on youngsters and giving them a go but given how poor Barry and Beto have been at times and our lack of goals I think if he was a real prospect he would have at least made the bench or a cameo appearance at sometime.

Odds are the lad will have a decent EFL career somewhere.

Surprised he didn't make the Northern Ireland squad, as Kieran Morrison did

Get him in Holland or Germany next year.

All the signs of a star, so needs micromanaging. Getting kicked by bruisers in the lower leagues isn't something that really helps proper talent

Apparently one of our ball boys celebrated their goal.

I want him out the club. Contract cancelled.

How hard is it for someone to have a fucking brain cell at this club? Maybe don’t give ball boy duties to a fucking Liverpool fan you complete idiots?

Zero signs of a star, playing at a terrible level with no interest from higher clubs and no men’s football. Literally no signs of a star at all, had he been poached by city at 14 it would have been a bigger sign than him scoring against alfreton towns u21s or whatever he’s been doing.

Won’t be involved today as the team would have been in London last night.
Would be nice to see him get a few minutes off the bench though, possibly against Sunderland.
I remember the same thing with Cadamarteri, came on last home game in god knows what year, a tricky kid with dreads, got off to a flyer the following season and I think even scored more than Owen at the beginning, and then……. 😩

Hopefully if he does make it he keeps a level head.

Moyes has said v clearly he’s got a way to go before he’s at first team level.

Will not be involved any time soon.

He looks like a kid even at 21 level.

I suspect there’s a lot of excitement about his talent but concern about how little he’s come on in terms of size.

He’s been played out wide a lot because of it.

Also all you ever see him do is score?

like obviously that’s great and he does look to have an unbelievable finish but I imagine if you watched max dowmans highlights at that level it would be full of him looking absolutely untouchable.

Yeah I dunno. It's not all you see. There's a lot of potential.

There's a video out there showing how he drops deep to take the ball off the centre backs, sprays an inch perfect angled ball into the run of a winger who then crosses to score. Reminded me a bit of how Rooney used to be with his football intelligence, head up, and ball control. He doesn't seem to even need to look at the ball, he plays it knowing where it is at his feet. (Probably in his periphery looking all of 4'6" tall!)

He's got more about him than just finishing, but he is apparently quiet for periods of games and is still some way from top level football physically.

He does have something we severely lack at the moment. Maybe in a season or 3. We're going to need a finisher much sooner than when this fella is likely to be ready.
