Re: Tim Iroegbunam
But really it doesn't matter, he has been playing really well for us, plus this is the Tim thread
So.... Those who think it's all fine he said it, great. And those that don't think it's fine, great!
I hope he starts playing Tim more soon. Excited about him.

I hope Tim doesn’t wander onto here
Can the mod crew transport all this Garner stuff to the Garner thread?

This is why it was easier to like all these players as a kid as you almost never heard any of this stuff.
Social media doing it's thing again and causing strife where there really shouldn't be any.

Exactly, I wonder how Peter Reid felt playing at anfield in his first derby back in the day.blueToffee wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2026 3:57 pm This is why it was easier to like all these players as a kid as you almost never heard any of this stuff.

There's loads who have supported them and played for us, and vice versa.
But none of them have had insufficient media training/awareness to go on record saying playing at Anfield made them feel tingly in their naughty bits.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
You know when they're a red because if they're a blue then a massive thing is made of it. See Tom Davies/Ross Barkley vs Anthony Gordon.
If there's any questions then they're almost definitely a red (or were, anyway)

Surprised at this.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2026 8:39 am Harrison Armstrong's a red, and from a family of reds as well apparently.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
You do have to acknowledge that probably isn't the case now though. Same with a lot of these players. Once they get abuse from their boyhood clubs then they quickly stop becoming a fan. It's like saying Carragher is a blue when he quite obviously isn't despite who he supported even through the Liverpool youth academy.
Obviously you have exceptions like Gordon but he's a bellend, so it is whatever.
I doubt Branthwaite, Armstrong and Garner are on the coach crying over Salah retiring
